In the increasingly globalized world, export credit is a critical tool in a country’s economic toolbox. Periodic review of Export Credit Agency (ECA) operations is necessary to maintain a country’s economic health.
That’s why Finland engaged Momentus (formerly IFCL) to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of its ECA, Finnvera. We helped the Ministry understand to what extent its ECA’s activities, structures, and approaches were aligned with its stated mission, strategic goals, as well as with international best practices.
We identified gaps and opportunities for realignment and provided recommendations designed to carry Finnvera successfully through the next decade.
