As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, IFCL is committed to supporting our people, our clients, and our community.
First and foremost our focus is on the health and wellbeing of our people. Our response measures are aligned with the advice provided by the Government of Canada and Global Affairs Canada with respect to international travel. As a result of this advice, we have canceled all non-essential travel and employees will not attend external events where social distance cannot be maintained until further notice.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops, and will take the appropriate action as necessary.
Minimizing disruption to our clients and our ongoing projects is a high priority for IFCL and we remain fully operational during this time. Further, we are ready to help our clients with the additional challenges brought about by this crisis.
IFCL has implemented remote working practices for many years. We have the technological and operational infrastructure that allows us to continue to work with little disruption. For projects requiring meetings and consultations, we have developed methodologies that, in most cases, allow us to conduct these effectively through video, voice or written communication.
This is a dynamic situation, but one we are diligently monitoring in real-time and communicating about to all of our stakeholders. We believe the structures and policies we are putting in place will enable us to continue to stay focused on our commitments to our clients while ensuring the safety of our employees and communities.
Amid the global response to COVID-19, our thoughts are with those who have been most impacted, as well as those striving to contain and treat it.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if IFCL can support your organizations during this challenging time.
