Michael is a senior development and banking professional of more than 25 years and is committed to the opportunities in emerging economic regions. At Momentus, Michael provides comprehensive project leadership and technical support in every area of institutional development.
He has demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and incorporating all risk disciplines (credit, market, operational, emerging) and control functions (finance, compliance, regulatory, technology) coherent, executable policy frameworks. His work in banking and investment banking spans the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and Canada, while his consulting work includes several assignments in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Michael currently serves as Risk and Audit committee Chair and Non-Executive Board Director at Vision Fund International (Kosovo). He presented at the 47th annual ALIDE general assembly in 2017 on the topic of “Can a bank be both profitable and efficient while playing a social role?”
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, has studied at the Munk School of Global Affairs, and holds several executive accreditations in leadership, risk management, and complex negotiations at Richard Ivey, Harvard, and Wharton.
